PASTOR EMERITUS
Rev. David Helms was the pastor of Bethesda Baptist Church for thirty-one years. Under his leadership, Pastor David shepherded our congregation with extraordinary grace, humility, and an unwavering love for the Gospel. In 2022, Pastor David transitioned to the Pastor Emeritus role at Bethesda. He went home to be with the Lord in July of 2026.
